How to get into IIT after 10th :

Step 1 : Appear for the JEE (Main) examination

You’ll have to appear for B.E/B Tech examinations. One needs to pass this Computer-Based Test CBT. This paper consists of two papers- paper 1 and paper 2. This type of a paper consists of multiple choice based questions. Answers, of which are in numerical value.

Step 2 :  Appear for JEE (Advanced) examination

You can appear for JEE(Advanced) examination only if your score is above the minimum cut off for different categories of students officially announced by the NTA. The minimum cut-off is dependent on various criteria. These criteria are dependent on various factors such as the number of students who appeared in the examination and the number of seats.

Step 3 : Obtain All India Rank (AIR)

One has to appear for both Paper I and II of the JEE (Advanced).
